Our sponsorship program engages sporting teams to act as advocates for positive road safety behaviour and deliver key road safety messages to target audiences.
The Knock-On Effect is our partnership with the National Rugby League, NSW Rugby League and Country Rugby League. In the campaign, Laurie Daley, Brad Fittler, Craig Fitzgibbon and Steve Menzies join forces to tackle road safety in the country head-on.
We have sponsored Cricket NSW and the NSW Blues for more than 14 years. The NSW Blues promote our Plan B campaign to encourage positive choices about getting home safely if you have been drinking.
Our partnership with the Sydney Swans helps promote the Get your hand off it campaign, raising awareness of the dangers of mobile phone use while driving. Our research shows you are four times more likely to crash when using a mobile phone while driving.
The Western Sydney Wanderers encourage motorists to slow down, helping to raise awareness among fans and the community of the dangers of speeding. Speeding remains the greatest cause of death and injury on our roads, contributing to about 40 percent of road fatalities.
