[Inside the broken down car, the driver (a woman in her twenties) looks apprehensive. She is stranded in her car. There is a lot of noise from the traffic outside, which can be seen through the driver’s window.]

Driver: Anyone can break down. Slow down and give us space.

[An NRMA roadside patrol expert attending to the broken down car wipes his hands on a rag. There is a lot of noise from passing traffic.]

NRMA Roadside patrol expert: We’re here to lend a hand… Slow down and give us space.

[At another roadside incident, a police officer directs cars past traffic cones. There is a police car parked on the side of the road, as well as other emergency vehicles.]

Police officer: We’re keeping you safe, slow down and give us space.

[At the same roadside incident, two paramedics carry gear from the rear of an Ambulance Service NSW Rapid Response vehicle. A policeman stands by a police car nearby with its warning lights flashing.]

Paramedic: Help us help you. Slow down and give us space.

Fireman: See us on the roadside, slow down and give us space.

[At the same roadside incident, an SES volunteer in orange overalls gets out of his 4WD vehicle.]

SES volunteer: For everyone’s safety, slow down and give us space.

[He closes the door and walks around the back of the vehicle as traffic passes.]
