Sing along with The Wiggles

We have partnered with The Wiggles on a catchy song to help little passengers stay safe and get them excited about buckling up.

We are thrilled to team up with Emma, Lachy, Simon and Anthony to get young children and families to sing and share the three simple steps for using a seatbelt or a child car seat, and getting them involved in car seat safety. Read a transcript.

Keeping children safe in the car

The song by The Wiggles promotes our "They're counting on you" message and encourages the correct use of child car seats. The campaign, which started in June 2014, supports our Child Car Seats website, where parents and carers can compare more than 200 different types of seats and find Authorised Restraint Fitting Stations.

Crash risk

Our research shows that about two in every three child passengers are not correctly restrained in a child car seat. Children who are not restrained correctly are seven times more likely to sustain life-threatening injuries in a crash than those who are properly secured.

Audience

Parents and carers of children aged up to seven years old, as well as parents expecting children.

I'm counting on you

  1. Have you got the right car seat?
  2. Have you fitted and adjusted it correctly?
  3. Do you know how to check it properly?
