Technical requirements

You will need:

  • A GPS signal
  • iPhone models 4S or later, or Android 4.0 or later
  • About 250 MB of memory to download the app over a Wi-Fi network.

Power use

Speed Adviser needs a lot of battery power, so we recommend you always use a car phone charger.

Data use

Because the app’s map information is stored on your phone, Speed Adviser doesn’t need to download data when in operation.

Accuracy, bugs and improvement suggestions

We strive to keep the speed zone information up-to-date, but sometimes errors occur.  If you find an incorrect speed zone, please record its location, and after you arrive at your destination, email us the details at SpeedlinkSupport@transport.nsw.gov.au.
